mmSAMPLE, Sample Size

The mmSAMPLE returns the sample size according to probabilistic assumptions, rather than 'gut feeling'. It is mainly useful when planning survey studies, but it can also be applied to the design of experiments and other processes, such as the planning of promotional activities.

N = Sample size
N = Population size

e = Error level
p = Hypothesis of the study

Syntax

mmSAMPLE(Population, Confidence, Error_Level, Hypothesis)

Population The size of the population to extract the sample from
Confidence The confidence interval level
Error_Level The statistical error level
Hypothesis The hypothesis of the study
