mmPERTT, Expected Duration of an Activity

The PERT Project Management function mmPERTT assumes that the time required to perform the project activities is not known with certainty. Using estimate duration this formula estimates the project completion time.

Where:

O = Optimistic estimate of the activity duration
ML = Most likely estimate of the activity duration
P = Pessimistic estimate of the activity duration

Syntax

mmPERTT(Optimistic, Most_Likely, Pessimistic)

Optimistic The smallest time estimate to complete the project
Most_Likely The most likely time estimate to complete the project
Pessimistic The largest time estimate to complete the project
